Here's a healthy family favorite that we make every once in a while that everyone just loves. Pulled Pork. We make it in a crockpot and cook it on high for 4 hours.

Ingredients:
        1 can tomato sauce
        1/2 cup ketchup
2 Tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons brown sugar
2 Tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
         2 teaspoons garlic powder
                                                                                    1 package pork tenderloin
                                                                                    1 pork shoulder roast

Stir all the ingredients together except the meat in the crockpot. Trim fat off the meat. Put meat in the crockpot and spoon the mixture on top of the meat. Cook for 4 hours on high. Remove meat from crockpot and place in a bowl. Shred the meat using two forks and return meat to crockpot. Stir meat and mixture together (meat will soak up most or all of the liquid). Serve on buns.

This makes enough for my whole family to have two sandwiches and then still have leftovers for the next couple days or we can freeze the leftovers to make another meal later in the month, which makes for an easy afterwork meal if you take it out of the freezer before you go to work and just heat it up when you get home.

Cool guys -- this is a great idea. I only have one picky eater - me - but looking forward to trying out some of these recipes anyway. I can always freeze in one-meal portions! - Aunt Joanne!
